Statement of Beliefs

  • We Believe that there is only one God, in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal
  • We Believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God
  • We Believe in the full Deity and the complete and sinless humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ
  • We Believe that Christ, who is God, came into this world of His own free will, was born of a Virgin to die as a substitutionary atonement for sinners, to impart to them his own perfect righteousness, and to rise again from the grave to return to Heaven
  • We Believe that man, through sin, both original and personal, is incapable of saving himself, and needs the blood of Christ to wash him from his sins and the righteousness of Christ to enable to be justified before God
  • We Believe in the Doctrines of Grace: Limited Atonement, Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Irresistible Grace and The Perseverance of the Saints
  • We Believe in the relevance of the Biblical charisma for today, and in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a separate experience after conversion
  • We Believe in the doctrine of separation from all that is contrary to the Word of God, both on a personal and church level
  • We Believe that there are two ordinances instituted by Christ, Believer's Baptism and the Lord's Supper, neither of which in and of themselves have the means or the power to save men from their sins
  • We Believe that one day Christ will come back again for his people, and that all who have ever lived will be judged on a set day ordained by God according to their lives and actions, some to enter into everlasting rest in Heaven and others into everlasting punishment in Hell
